The ASA Garden project started in Kandira Kocaeli, in a 100.000 m2 field in 2013.

It all began with the aim of producing healthy food for the company’s employee. We deliberately selected the local fruits and vegetables that are growing in that area even 100 years ago, and we tried to enrich the variety with some foreign strains like broccoli and brussels sprout. At the end of 2015 our field became certificated as “Organic”.

So far we’ve experienced artichoke, green beans, eggplant, tomato varieties, red mullet, peas, corn, purslane, zucchini, pumpkin, watermelon, melon and strawberry in summer and spinach, celery, leek, black cabbage, white cabbage, red cabbage, cauliflower, lettuce, dill, parsley and green onions in winter which have grown successfully. In addition to them, the garden also has a total of 1200 fruit trees consisting of pomegranate, quince, palm, mulberry, cherry, apple, pear, medlar, plum, walnut and almond.

Today, the products of ASA Garden are given to employees of our company and a limited customer group.
